Who are we?

Aspen Bouncy Castles is a family run business - founded in 2007, and started operating in the Welwyn Garden City and Stevenage areas, to provide schools, nurseries, playgroups, families and events with a fun day for the children full of activity and lots of excercise!

What do you get when you pay us?

You get the castle of your choice, delivered to your chosen location, set up for a great day of bouncing fun!
We don't charge extra for deflating the castle at the end of the day or picking it up either!

Aspen Bouncy Castles operate with Full Public Liability Insurance for both your's and our safety and peace of mind.

When do you deliver ?

Deliveries are made from around 8.30am. We start collections from around 6pm. If you require specific times, this can be arranged when the booking is made. Where time restrictions apply such as Indoor venues or School fetes, we will deliver / collect at your preferred times.

When should I book my inflatable ?

It's always best to book in advance to avoid disappointment, especially for weekends and school holidays. We do however take bookings for same-day delivery, so dont worry, give us a call !!

Do you hire your castles overnight ?

Overnight hire is available on request at an extra charge. The castle would then be collected at an agreed time the following morning before 10am.

What happens if it's raining ?

If it's raining on or close to the day you are due to hire our inflatable we will deliver as arranged unless you call us and cancel. We do not charge for cancellations. All of our castles have shower covers.

Can the inflatables be used indoors ?

All of our inflatables are suitable for indoor use. The sizes of our inflatables are shown in the description on the Castle page as is a list of indoor venues. If you are in any doubt, contact us and we will answer yor question.

Is there anything I can do before you arrive ?

You could make sure there is easy access to the area the inflatable will be sited, free from obstacles and that mains electricity is within 50 metres. We can supply a generator for you to hire if there is no access to mains electricty. Please prepare the site before we arrive to optimise your hire times.

Can the castle be set up on a patio or wooden decking ?

Our inflatables can be used on solid floors as well as lawned areas. We will supply safety mats to avoid injury and have purpose made sand-bags to secure the castle. We only specify that the area be free of any sharp objects, and not in contact with trees or out-buildings. If you have any doubts, just call !

Do we fully install the inflatable ?

We do everything for you, from setting up the inflatable in the specified area, securing it, and inflating it. We will have already sent you our terms and conditions on conformation of your booking - insructions included. We will run through any other questions you may have .... and then fully dismantle the inflatable on collection.

Do we have Public Liability Insurance ?

Our equipment is supplied with full public liability insurance - available on request. You will also be asked to read and sign our terms and conditions on delivery.

How long does it take to set up ?

It takes about 20 minutes to set up and about 25 minutes to deflate our inflatables dependant on ease of access !!

Do we hire adult equipment ?

Yes, we hire adult inflatables and adult sumo suits, supplied with match mat and game rules - probably the most fun you'll have all year !!!! Action pictures below our castle selection.

Do we hire our inflatables to schools and fetes ?

We hire all our equipment to schools, fetes, weddings, christenings or any other event, and also offer discounts for frequent users. Please call for further details.

What happens if I need to cancel ?

We do not charge for cancellations, but if you do need to make a cancellation please notify us as soon as possible.

Can you collect the inflatable from us ?

Unfortunatly we need to set up all our inflatables to conform to insurance policies.

Do we offer discounts ?

Yes, we offer frequent hirer discount.

How do I clean the inflatable ?

Our inflatables are thouroughly checked and cleaned before we deliver them to you. If for any reason they need to be cleaned, only use hot soapy water - not chemical cleaning agents - Face paints for example should not be allowed on the castles because of permanent staining.

Do I need to show identification ?

Identification will only be necessary for overnight hire. A utility bill and one other form of identification will have to be shown for hire to commense.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE

1. Inflatables are strictly for children under 11yrs old. ABOLUSTELY NO ADULTS.(excluding adult range)

2. The hirer shall be responsible for the inflatable and accessories while on hire.

3. A responsible adult should supervise children at all times.

4. Children should be kept away from the blower unit, electric cables and anchors. The blower is not to be covered with anything.

5. No shoes, food, drinks, glasses, belts, sharp objects or pets on the inflatable at any time.

6. No smoking or barbecues near the inflatable. No silly sting on or near the inflatable.

7. No climbing on the inflatable walls.

8. We take no responsibility for any damage to underground pipes, cables and services when anchoring the inflatable.

9. The hirer is liable for costs to repair or replace equipment that is damaged due to misuse.

10. Ensure that the inflatable is clean, and Ball-pond balls if applicable are packed in the bags provided prior to the agreed collection time.

Aspen Bouncy Castles reserve the right to cancel any booking at any time, i.e. in really bad weather (if more than a light shower we may cancel for safety reasons).
